Sweden's top goalkeeper Isaksson tired of Man City bench

"It feels like I am through here," Isaksson told tabloid Aftonbladet. "I can't risk another season like this year."

   The 26-year-old goalkeeper has been sidelined by Joe Hart, and has apparently not received any special favours from fellow Swede, City manager Sven-Goran Eriksson whose future at the Premier League side has been called into question.

 Isaksson said his stint at City has been "up and down" after struggling with injuries and failing as first choice option in the team.

 Despite his uncertain status at City, Isaksson is likely the first choice for Swedish national coach Lars Lagerback at the upcoming Euro 2008 finals in Austria and Switzerland in June.

 The championships are likely a good showcase for Isaksson, who said he hopes Sweden can qualify from a group that includes reigning European champions Greece, Spain and Russia.
