When pain is no problem

Following in the footsteps of his father - the world-famous tattoo artist Jimmy Wong-Jukkoo Wong will be showing off his craft at the second World Tattoo Arts Festival & Exhibition Thailand in Pattaya from May 16-18.



The event in expected to earn some Bt400 million for 70 tattoo artists from Asia, the United States and Europe. 

The first such event, held in February 2006 at Bangkok's Suan Lum Night Bazzar, drew a crowd of 7,000 people.

Jukkoo, whose clients include supermodel Kate Moss, members of BoyZone and local star Tata Young, said he entered the field as an assistant to his father at the age of 19.

A seminar to discuss the ethics of tattoo artists, entitled Tattoo Spirit, will be held at Manita Hotel in Pattaya at 1pm on May 16.
