"I was proud to work at the ministry at first, but after working with officials and medical staff for three months I found it was very hard to work with them. I think they have a high intelligence quotient but low emotional quotient," he told 200 participants who attended the annual seminar of the Pharmaceutical Association of Thailand.
Chaiya said most officials who work in the field of public health do not work together, which created obstacles for him.
He said his father had told him to quit politics several times because he looked tired. "I told my father to take it easy. I just need more time to prove something in my career," he said
Earlier, Chaiya had told 1,000 supporters in his home town in Nakorn Prathom province that he would have a big surprise for officials working at the ministry. He said he would reveal information that will shock them.
