Inflation remains high as economic momentum continues with the full support of fiscal policy. The central bank's adjustment of economic-growth projections indicates the economy should be able to grow continuously, but headline inflation could contribute to a second-round effect as production costs surge.
"The two issues are of equal concern. Economic growth has momentum without any action from the central bank. As fiscal policy helps encourage growth, we take care of inflation. We share our duties," said Tarisa.
