She said the company would provide attractive packages to advertising clients. It will not only provide ad space, but also organise events and research services.
The company is concerned its advertising revenue may fall short of its growth target for this year. Rarin declined to disclose revenue figures for the first quarter.
She said the company had tried to become an integrated-solutions provider for two years now. Rarin said its magazine business faced serious competition. The needs of its readership appear to have shifted, and the move may have affected its advertising business.
The spending budget for some print media is now considered a niche market by some. This worrisome trend has forced Amarin to adjust to a changing marketplace.
Rarin said the firmhad the potential to continue serving its wide readership.
The company says it can reach 6 million people a month via events like fairs.
"We not only publish magazines, but also provide a range of other media services," she said.
