In my view, speeding up the construction process of residential projects through the use of technology is my business strength.
Thus, when I expand my business, I must focus on developing residential projects - both low-rises and high-rises.
Preuksa Real Estate recorded faster growth after it succeeded in developing a construction technology prefabrication system that reduces construction time for detached houses from eight months to be only three-and-a-half months.
This has helps the company reduce costs between 10 per cent and 20 per cent as compared to competitors. As a result, Preuksa has been able to bring housing prices down.
We had to concentrate on changing our structure in order to support business growth when our revenue grew to almost Bt10 billion,
I have continued to focus on the property business in the domestic and overseas markets.
Meanwhile, I also expanded my product line to cover nine segments with starting prices of Bt600,000 per unit to Bt5 million per unit. They include condominiums, townhouses and detached houses - in the lower, middle and upper market segments.
I have transformed the structure of my business to support business expansion in the future.
The structure is now built around five business units and 10 strategic business units and will support the company objective to become the market leader by 2012.
In my view, human resources are the key of my business success. When you are heading a company, you have to concern yourself with developing your staff. This is the key to sustainable growth and a stable organisation.
