20 energy-saving measures out today

The Energy Ministry will today announce 20 energy-saving measures as retail oil prices hit new highs.

One of the voluntary measures is soft loans from financial institutions for household energy-saving programmes.

Today all oil retailers, including PTT, are hiking pump prices, pushing premium petrol to Bt35.09 per litre, while diesel remains at Bt31.94.

The marketing margin for diesel was minus 10 satang per litre against a positive 50 satang for petrol.
