It will support the Asean Single Window, the APEC Paperless Trade and the National Integrated Single Windows e-Logistics initiatives.

Somnuk Keretor, director of KUINNOVA and project director/consultant for the Transport Single Window e-Logistics project, said the three-year plan is being developed to facilitate  transport.

The project aims to increase efficiency of the supply chain and e-logistics, reduce complexity in business processes, make processes simpler.

Another objective is  to raise Thailand's competitiveness through  data standardisation and harmonisation between government agencies and the private sector, including importers and exporters.

The three-year plan will set up a one-stop service connected to the e-logistics system of the Transport Ministry and develop new technology to support e-document and e-logistics initiatives. The project will integrate business  and document processes in the Land Transport Department, the Civil Aviation Department, the Marine Department and the office of the permanent secretary of the Transport Ministry to facilitate the Transport Single Window e-Logistics initiative.
