PDI has new shareholders

AM Nyrstar NV and its founding shareholders Umicore SA/NV have sold their 24.9 per cent and 22 per cent stakes, respectively in Thailand's listed zinc miner Padaeng Industry Plc.

Online news website RTT News reported that AM Nyrstar NV, a producer of zinc metal and alloys, said on Friday that it has agreed to divest its 24.9 per cent minority shareholding in Padaeng Industry to a consortium of investors, for 34 million euro in cash.

The consortium of investors is represented by Asia Plus Securities.

Umicore SA/NV, one of Nyrstar's founding shareholders, announced that it has sold its 22 per cent shareholding.

Trading in Padaeng was halted following the big lot transactions.
