New insurance policy for travellers
The Office of Insurance Commission (OIC) yesterday launches a new insurance policy specifically for those who plan to travel during the Songkran holiday.
Launched in cooperation with the General Insurance Association and Thai Life Assurance Association, the policies will cost Bt15-Bt180 per day.
The maximum claims will then be Bt10,000 to Bt300,000, respectively.
The insurance policies will be sold during April 4-5 and April 10-12 at five major sites - Hua Lamphong train station, Mo Chit bus terminal I and II, Ekkamai bus terminal and the South bus terminal.
