Suwit comforts investors

Deputy Prime Minister and Industry Minister Suwit Khunkitti is optimistic that heated confusion over political conflicts may not hurt investment sentiment.

He admitted on Monday that some companies, particularly foreign ones, have expressed their worries. However, overall confidence persists on confidence that a democratic government would remain in place.

There are fears now that two major coalition parties - Chart Thai and - could be dissolved for alleged frauds in the previous election. In case of dissolution, it would introduce big changes to the government.
