Crown Prince sponsors free treatments for haze in Mae Hong Son

Under the royal sponsor of HRH Crown Prince Maha Vajiralongkorn, provincial medical units on Wednesday provided free health services and distributed 45,000 masks for Mae Hong Son residents suffering from haze caused by forest fires.

Local residents in seven districts could access free services at staterun hospitals and health clinics.

The air quality in the northernmost province has deteriorated to more than 134 microgrammes of pollutants per cubic millimeter. The heath standard sets the pollutants not to exceed 120 microgrammes.
