SCG to spend Bt15 bn on energy/environment
Siam Cement Group (SCG), the country's leading industrial conglomerate, sets aside a budget of Bt15 billion to focus on energy-saving and environmental projects during 2007-2012.
Meanwhile, it announced the prime mission of "Sustainable Development" to promote its business operation with the contributions to economy, society, and environment.
President and CEO Kan Trakulhoon said the world was facing many challenges, for example, a sharp rise in population and a rapid decline in natural resources, which affect the business sector directly.
