Preeda ups its stake in Nation

Preeda Pramote has acquired another 7.8 per cent of Nation Multimedia stocks, boosting its stake in the company to 9.09 per cent or 14.97 million shares.

The company bought the stake from American International Assurance last week, according to a filing to the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Preeda Pramote's executive Sakorn Suksriwong is an executive of ComLink, the parent company, which is majority owned by Sirithat Rojanapruek and 7-per-cent held by MR Pridiyathorn Devakula.

The Nation's share price yesterday retreated Bt0.10 to end at Bt10.30. Last week, the stock touched Bt11.
