8 more clusters proposed

Industrial Promotion Department Director-General Pramote Witthayasuk said on Wednesday that the department will push for the formation of eight more industrial clusters to further increase the national competitiveness.

He said that the policy so far has been successfully, encouraging the grouping of related industries and boosting their revenue.

So far, there have been 32 clusters, with over 800 members.
