Two MPs from Buri Ram disqualified

But Songsak Thongsri's case incomplete

The Election Commission on Monday ruled to disqualify the balloting results of two government MPs from Buri Ram, EC secretary general Suthiphon Thaveechaigarn said, noting that the ruling did not include the outcome for Deputy Transport Minister Songsak Thongsri who ran in the same constituency as the two.

The EC issued yellow cards to MPs Prasit Tangsrikiartkul and Sanong Thepaksornnarong. Should the Supreme Court endorse the electoral ruling, the two would be allowed to contest the byelection.

Suthiphon said the review on Songsak's involvement in electoral fraud has yet to be complete.
