He was referring to the legal proceedings against his Chart Thai Party relating to vote-buying in the December election committed by a party deputy leader Monthian Songpracha in Chai Nat.
Sanan said coalition parties would soon hold a meeting to map out how to amend the 2007 Constitution. A panel might be formed to study amendments deemed nececessary and the review process should involve the public participation but not to the extent of holding a referendum, he said.
Sanan was a former secretary general of Democrat Party that opposed the constitution rewriting.
Two other coalition parties, People Power and Matchima Thipataya, are facing a similar legal wrangling as Chart Thai.
