The recent political uncertainty has not been a major concern for the local subsidiary of the Swiss watch manufacturer as it has already seen a 30-per-cent increase in sales during the first quarter compared to the same period last year.
The company's main concern is the strengthening baht, which it feels is too high compared to the Hong Kong dollar.
Managing director Christophe Viguerie said the disparity could encourage potential customers to fly to Hong Kong to buy premium watches instead of purchasing them here.

Thailand received the award for being the Best Travel Destination.
The go asia initiative was founded in 2003 in order to enhance marketing in German-speaking regions.
The survey was conducted in cooperation with the readers of the travel magazine Reise + Preise, as well as travel agents throughout Germany.
