Chelsea deny death-threat claims

London (dpa) - Chelsea moved swiftly Tuesday to deny reports that manager Avram Grant has been subjected to further death threats.

Last month a white powder - later found to be harmless - was sent to Chelsea's training ground at Cobham in Surrey, along with threats against Grant.

Media reports had claimed Grant had been targeted again, but Chelsea denied those suggestions in a statement on their website.

"Reports in the media this morning regarding a threat sent to our training ground against Avram Grant are totally incorrect," it said.
