One&Only Kanuhura in Maldives has landed a top accolade in the TripAdvisor 'Travellers Choice Awards 2008'.

It was voted 'best hidden gem in Asia' by the website with the world's largest online travel community.

Combined scores of highest traveller ratings and the TripAdvisor Popularity Index, a measurement of overall traveller satisfaction, determined the winners.

With an award-winning spa, the 100-villa One&Only Kanuhura, Maldives, is famed for its laid-back luxury and authentic Maldivian charm, with three gourmet restaurants and wide variety of activities including scuba diving, big game fishing, water sports, squash and tennis.

The resort has previously been voted Maldives' Leading Hotel in the World Travel Awards (UK), ranked among the Top Ten Best Hotel Spas in Africa, Middle East & Indian Ocean by Conde Nast Traveller (UK), in the Top Ten World's Great Hotels for Pre-Teens and their Families by Wow.net and Best in the Maldives for Food by Gallivanter's Guide (UK).

It was also recently voted 'Best Resort Design' by Hospitality Design magazine.
