The event will be held at Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre from tomorrow until Sunday.
The Home & Condo Show 18 has been organised by three property associations: the Thai Condominium Association, the Thai Real Estate Association and the Housing Business Association.
Manop Keawcha-aum, director of the Housing Business Association and the Thai Condominium Association, said about 600 residential projects worth up to Bt100 billion would be showcased at the event. Special promotional packages will be offered to buyers.
Another organiser said he expected up to 100,000 visitors at the event.
"We expect 66 per cent higher sales compared with the Home & Condo Show 17, which recorded sales of Bt3 billion. We feel encouraged by the government's policy of reducing the transfer fee from 2 per cent to 0.01 per cent and the reduction of special business tax from 3.3 per cent to 0.01 per cent. We expect this will encourage buyers to take a decision and invest in residential projects at the earliest opportunity," Manop said.
He said a customer booking property at the event could also avail of special mortgage offers from banks. The offers include packages such as zero interest for the first three months, or special interest rates.
Customers will also benefit from special promotions being offered by developers at the event. They can expect discounts of between 5 and 10 per cent, free home decoration, garden space at no charge, and the like.
