Future Park goes green

Future Park Rangsit will invest over Bt1 billion in this and next year, to turn the mall into "The Natural-Metro Shopping Park".

Pimpaka Wanglee, managing director of developer Rangsit Plaza, said the mall would be the meeting point of all. After the Bt800 million facelift, rents would be raised by 7-10 per cent while more premium shops will be attracted. Traffic is expected to rise 20 per cent, from 130,000 visitors at present. Spending per bill will also rise 15-20 per cent, from Bt2,000 last year.

Pimpaka also said the company may resume the investment in the residential and commercial project Future City, due to clearer political atmosphere.
