PTT Exploration and Production will participate in the offshore exploration bidding, while Dusit Thani plans to open a five-star hotel in Chittagong, he said.

However, Chalermpol expressed concern over the stringent conditions attached to work permits in Bangladesh and over the regulation of foreign investment.

Adidas (Thailand) has launched adidas Kids sports clothing

and accessories for children aged 8-14.

Category manager Tharinee Chincharoen recently said adidas wanted to support children, particularly adolescents, and encourage them to realise the significance of sports.

"We've seen enormous market potential, because there's so much room for expansion. While most players have focused on featuring fashion designs on their sports products, adidas puts its eyes on modern kids, who have a dynamic lifestyle and rely on plenty of physical activities, both indoors and outdoors," Tharinee said.
