Should there be two candidates vying for the job, the winner would be the one garnering the highest votes.
If there are more than two candidates, the outcome for the winner must reach a simple majority of the quorum. Should the votes in the first round fall short of the simple majority, there would be a second round of voting and the candidate with the highest votes would be declared a winner.
