Shell decided to jack up its diesel price by 50 satang per litre, effective on Saturday, sending the retail price at its service stations to the new record high at Bt30.44.
PTT decided to hold on until the National Economic Policy Committee's meeting on Wednesday, when diesel subsidy measures will be discussed. Diesel at other service stations will remain Bt29.44 per litre.
If all measures proposed by the Energy Ministry are approved by NEPC, diesel price would be cut by 90 satang per litre.
