The company plans to develop a new lifestyle mall in Phuket in partnership with other lifestyle anchors, such as supermarkets and cinemas. The Phuket project will take about two years to complete and require about 20 rai of land.
Marketing manager Chanat Choochart said Bt500 million would be spent on its latest 20,000 square metre store on Kaset-Nawamin Road. Construction is already 20 per cent complete, and it will open in November or Decem-ber.
Boonthavorn operates six major branches - Ratchadaphisek, Bang Na Trat (Suvar-nabhumi), Rangsit, Pinklao, Thon Buri-Pak Thor and Pattaya - all of which have had soft openings since last October. The first Boonthavorn store opened 30 years ago on Ratchadaphisek Road.
"We're renovating our Rangsit branch, more than tripling its retail space from 6,000 square metres to 20,000 square metres. The Bt300-million renovation will be finished by June," said Chanat. "Our strategy is to make every Boontha-vorn a destination store that caters for shoppers in all of the surrounding provinces."
Boonthavorn Ceramic yesterday launched its first campaign of the year - "A Boonthavorn Retro-spective" - aimed at sharing its profits with its loyal customers.
Boonthavorn is positioning itself as a hub for sanitary ware, kitchenware, marble and granite and carries more than 70,000 product items with more than 30 years of continuous business development.
The company said its vision was to regard customer needs as a prime concern and supply high-quality products. Each branch features various kitchen and bathroom showcases with more than 1,000 styles along with such services as consulting, installation and maintenance from the company's team.
Sitthisak Tayanuwat, vice president for commercial operations, said "A Boonthavorn Retrospective" would recall the great relationship enjoyed by Boonthavorn and its customers these past three decades. The company organised the campaign to thank customers for their continuous support. To thank them, three first prizes of Mazda autos will be awarded to lucky customers, and other promotions worth more than Bt30 million are slated, he said.
