Health activists to call for Health Minister Chaiya Sasomsub's resignation
A group of health activists will on Thursday set up a table at the Public Health Ministry to invite officials to sign their names on the paper demanding Health Minister Chaiya Sasomsub to quit from his position.
Saree Ongsomwang, manager of Foundation for Consumer, said this action against Chaiya was due to his improper action which did not benefit people particularly his idea to cancel the compulsory licensing implementation for cancer drug and the transfer of high level officials in the Public Health Ministry.
