Thaksin blames Surayud government

Ex-premier Thaksin Shinawatra on Tuesday gave interview to the Financial Times magazine accusing the Council for National Security of shaking the country's political and economic stability.

Thaksin, whose government was brought down in the September coup with charges of corruption and interference of media and independent agencies, said the coup-installed government has caused difficulty to the newly elected Samak government to restore foreign investor's confidence in the country.

He claimed the country's economic sector would also be hard hit by the economic downturn in the United States.
