Black truffles Jesters restaurant offers a premium menu of dishes featuring "black diamonds" - truffles that are found only in the Perigord region of France and are one of the rarest and most expensive foods in the world.

Delectable tuna belly

The Kisso Japanese restaurant at Westin Grande Sukhumvit Hotel offers prime Japanese tuna belly in traditional Japanese dishes until February 29.

Chef Ikeda invites diners to enjoy dishes like chutoro nigiri, chutoro sashimi, pan-seared chutoro steak with lemon pepper, chopped chutoro and Japanese yam served with spicy soy sauce, broiled toro yaki shimo zukuri with vinegary sesame sauce, seared aburi toro, seared toro with green chilli soybean paste, marinated toro and grated Japanese yam on sushi rice, served with miso soup. La dolce vita

Lamb from Tasmania

The Bay Italian Restaurant at the Dusit Thani Pattaya is the place to be if you crave Italian cuisine, be it pasta creations or other favourites. On the menu this month is a selection of Aurora lamb dishes prepared with a delicious Italian twist.

Aurora lamb is a high-end product often compared in taste and tenderness to Japan's top-grade Kobe beef. Reared in Tasmania using a combination of traditional farming methods, this lamb is grazed on a high-protein diet made up of a special mix of natural grains. Call (038) 425 611-7, ext 2270.
