Air grievances: Samak

Prime Minister Samak Sundaravej yesterday told government officials to ask for help if they were subjected to unfair treatment.

"Please air your grievances and we will help," Samak told a meeting of about 800 high-ranking officials from all government agencies and the armed forces.

Samak sought to quell speculation that his government would take action against officials who were loyal to the past administration. Such criticism intensified after Sunai Manomai-udom was abruptly transferred from the top post at the Department of Special Investigation last Friday.

"We may make some adjustments, but we are not singling anyone out," Samak said.
