Japan Bank for International Cooperation's survey showed persistent confidence in Thai economy among Japanese businessmen in Thailand.

To the businessman, Thailand is the second most attractive market after China, said Satit Charnjavanakul, secretary-general of the Board of Investment.

"The 19th survey showed that 30 per cent of the businessmen ranked Thailand on the list of top investment markets. Thailand is on the top of the list for those in the automobile industry, who are ready to pour more investment here," he said.

Overall, Thailand is the second most attractive market after China, as the respondents are confident in the future business outlook and higher returns compared to investment in other countries.
