
Mingkwan on Monday passed out on the podium, while in the middle of the speech to businessmen at the "Post Forum: The Way Forward" conference. Prior to stepping to the stage, he said that he caught a cold and may not be able to finish the 1-hour speech.
His close aide said that Mingkwan has been suffering from high blood pressure, but the doctors want to make sure if he develops any heart disease.
Mingkwan was one of the economic ministers to share his views on the government's economic policies at the event.
After 10 minutes, he regained his consciousness and went to Police Hospital for medical check.
Mingkwan later cancelled the planned meeting with 200 farmers and swine raisers scheduled later on the day at 4pm.
