"Thai Airways is a long-time Hamilton Sundstrand customer, and we look forward to continuing our successful partnership," he said in a statement.
THAI operates domestic, regional and intercontinental flights radiating from its home base in Bangkok to key destinations around the world and within Thailand. It operates Boeing, Airbus and ATR aircraft with a total fleet size of nearly 100 aircraft.
With 2007 revenues of US$5.6 billion (Bt180 billion), Hamilton Sundstrand employs some 18,300 people worldwide and is headquartered in Windsor Locks, Connecticut.
Among the world's largest suppliers of technologically advanced aerospace and industrial products, the company designs, manufactures and services aerospace systems and provides integrated-system solutions for commercial, regional, corporate and military aircraft. It is also a major supplier for international space programmes.
