Her life skills are put to the test when her sister dies and she has to take care of her nine-year-old niece Zoe (Abigail Breslin), while contending with a brash new sous-chef Nick Palmer (Aaron Eckhart). High-spirited and freewheeling, Nick couldn't be more different from Kate, yet the chemistry between them is undeniable. Rivalry becomes romance, and Kate soon discovers she'll have to learn to express herself beyond the realm of her kitchen if she wants to connect with Zoe and find true happiness with Nick.

The Story: Bestowed with superpowers when a lab experiment goes unexpectedly awry, TV's favourite beagle embarks on his first-ever live-action adventure. When the maniacal Dr Simon Barsinister (Peter Dinklage) and his overgrown crony Cad (Patrick Warburton) threaten to destroy Capitol City, Shoeshine aka Underdog (voiced by Jason Lee) must leap into action in order to protect the frightened citizens and ensure that no harm comes to pretty Polly Purebread (voiced by Amy Adams).
