Kirati, Peerakit out

The Siributwong brothers blew away three match points before losing to third seeds Tatsuma Ito and Hiroki Kondo of Japan in the US$10,000 Thailand Men's Futures F1.

Kirati and brother Peerakit grabbed the lead at 9-6 in the third set but failed to capitalise on their chances as the Japanese pair snatched the momentum to win 6-2 0-6 12-10 in the semi-finals.

In the men's singles quarter-finals, fourth-seeded Tatsuma Ito of Japan ousted eighth-seeded compatriot Norikazu Sugiyama 6-3 7-6 (7/3) while Nam Hyun-woo of South Korea beat Hungarian qualifier Adam Kellner 6-1 7-6 (8/6). Two Chinese contenders,  Bai Yan and Xu Junchao booked the remaining slots in the final four.
