Ruangsak Loychusak, managing director of the company - a unit under GMM Grammy - said the company aimed to open five franchised outlets this year.
"Anyone interested can send us a business proposal, the proposed location, the management strategies and planning details. The school must have at least 250 square metres of space, and those having space at shopping centres will receive special consideration," he said.
Ruangsak said the new outlets would primarily be located in main provincial cities with high populations and a number of educational institutions, such as Khon Kaen and Nakhon Ratchasima. Each will be able to accommodate 400 to 500 students.
"Meefah's strength today is not limited to being a music school, but we are an organisation for which a major objective is to produce artists for GMM Grammy and the entire entertainment business," the MD said.
Meefah now operates nine outlets, eight operated by franchisees, with a combined 6,000 students.
