Mingkwan meets trade chiefs next week
Commerce Minister Mingkwan Sangsuwan will next week meet with heads of 57 Thai trade centres around the world, to finalise Thailand's export outlook amid negative factors.
The minister said on Tuesday that he has the plan to draw investment from seven major provinces in China, to cash in on the growing foreign reserves of the country. Chinese companies are now urged to invest overseas as a way to soften the yuan against US dollar.
Mingkwan noted that this plan looks possible given the good Sino-Thai relationship.
