Juve are now on 44 points from 22 games despite falling behind early in the game and being on the ropes through most of the first half.
"This win is worth a lot because the team managed to react," Juve coach Claudio Ranieri said. "They were faster and more determined than us in the first half hour. Then we took control and managed to stop suffering.
"In the second half they had to slow down and it was time to play our game. We did a good job and managed to come back."
Fourth-place Fiorentina drew 2-2 at Atalanta Saturday, retaining the last Champions League berth, but fifth-place AC Milan Sunday closed to within two points by edging Siena 1-0 and can leapfrog them if they win their game in hand.
