Group to manage Trat resort

Centara Hotels and Resorts has signed a contract to manage a new resort in Trat, on the mainland overlooking Koh Chang, that will be called Centara Chaan Talay Resort and Villas Trat.

The group expects the resort's idyllic setting and beach will be popular with Thai and overseas tourists. There is a long, clean, white-sand beach and clear sea in front of the resort, Centara Hotels and Resorts president Gerd Steeb said. The resort is scheduled to open on March 1.
