Sompong vowed not to interfere in Thaksin cases

Justice Minister Sompong Amornwiwat on Thursday said he would allow officials to work in accordance to law on the cases against former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra.

Known as Thakin's loyalist, Sompong snapped when asked by reporters to comment that the public was concerned the government may interfere in the cases that involve Thaksin under investigation by the Department of Special Investigation.

"Do not ask such questions. Every thing has to go in accordance to law. I do not know law but I will not do anything illegal,'' he said.
