Drop in growth of spending on the Chinese New Year

The Centre for Economic and Business Forecasting announced on Tuesday about spending forecast during the Chinese New Year that its growth would slow down due mainly to higher product prices.

The latest Chamber Business Poll surveyed 1,202 consumers who would consider spending during the Chinese New Year. Following the survey, there will be a cash circulation totally Bt33 billion, up 5.74 per cent from last year's Bt31 billion. The growth rate of spending is narrow, compared to 7.83 per cent last year.
