Organised by local distributor P&G Thailand, the four ladies shared their experiences of using the product.

Chayada said she's been using Downy since studying in the UK as she liked the softness and long-lasting fragrance. She showcased several of her winter woollies and a scarf.

"I'm a big fan of handicraft products and I love to knit," enthused Chayada. "When I was pregnant with my son Ashi, I used to spend all my free time knitting. I don't get many opportunities to wear these woollens but I still appreciate them. One way to preserve these pieces and keep them fragrant is to wash them together with the laundry, which for Ashi and myself usually accumulates into quite a big pile. Usually, so much laundry would require a lot of fabric softener, but with this product I need just a little."

Sasithorn was introduced to the product by her mother, who lives in the US.

"For this closet exhibition, I prefer to showcase my family's favourite pieces and that doesn't include just clothes but also bags, shoes and even some jeans that my husband's been wearing since his college days, which need special attention to prevent build up of odour."

New mum Winrat Sansanasakiat presented her bed linen, explaining that in her view, a good night's sleep was vital for both body and mind, especially after a hard day at work. "The fresh scent of newly washed sheets heals our soul and helps us sleep well all night. I sometimes take my own bed sets with me when I'm travelling so that I can wake up totally refreshed and ready for the day's work," said Winrat.

Last but not least, TV anchor Elizabeth revealed her closet under the theme of "My Birdie Tale". A sports lover, Elizabeth said Downy was her favourite fabric softener, especially for her sports outfits, as she didn't wash them immediately after a work out.

"Normally I wait and do one big laundry. Just a small amount of the softener works fabulously, with the refreshing scent remaining for ages on my clothes."
