Orient Thai made its inaugural flight with its 170-seater MD82 aircraft to Kathmandu on December 29, 2007. The carrier is the ninth airline to enter Nepal's skies over the last 13 months. 

The flights depart Bangkok at 8.30am on Tuesday and Saturday and arrive in Kathmandu at 10.30am. The return flight leaves Nepal's capital at 11.20am and reaches Bangkok at 3.45pm. One-way tickets start at Bt7,700, and are subject to an additional charge of Bt2,060 for taxes and surcharges. Call 1126.
