Bangkok Mass Transit Authority (BMTA) receives application from 60 private bus operators, who will jointly provide 4,656 public buses in Bangkok and peripheral provinces.
Of total, 941 will be mini-buses.
All buses are required to be fit with NGV engine by end-2009. - The Nation
