Executive chairman and CEO Noridan Spee Yee said on Wednesday that the company had already sold nearly 2 million ringgit (Bt19.2 million) worth of machinery to the three countries since the agents were appointed in December.

The Hour Glass Limited, a watch retailer, has announced a 95-per-cent jump in profit after tax to 21.2 million Singaporean dollars (Bt470 million) for the nine months ending last December 31. Meanwhile, the company's revenue increased 27 per cent to $368.8 million, says the firm.
The company also unveiled its expansion plans for the Asia-Pacific in the first quarter of the fiscal 2009, including a new joint venture in Thailand and the enhancement of existing operations in key markets.
In Thailand, the subsidiary of The Hour Glass recently signed a memorandum of understanding with Prima Times, an associate of Blue River, to establish a 50:50 retail joint venture under the name "PMT The Hour Glass".
