Thais eye Bowl final at World 5's

Thailand team manager Adisak Benjasiriwan believes his side can win against the Netherlands in the 2008 edition of the World 5's, which gets underway today at the Negara Stadium in Kuala Lumpur.

The Thai boys have been drawn in Group B with Holland and the kings of the five-a-side game, Brazil, who have Falcao, widely acknowledged as the best-ever player to grace a futsal court, in their side. China and Asian Indoor Games winners Iran are also in the group.

"We have set our sights on reaching the Bowl final. We need to win at least one match in the group-classifying round to achieve that.

The Thai boys, the SEA Games champions, will enter their opener without key player Anucha Manchareon, who was suspended for two matches at the Macau Indoor Games.

In today's Group A matches, Indonesia face Australia, with China taking on Brazil. Argentina play England, while Indonesia meet the hosts.

The group matches will be competed over the first four days, with the top two teams of each group making the cut for the semi-finals of the Cup competition (Division 1).

Team finishing third and fourth of group will be awarded places in the Plate semi-finals (Division 2), while the Bowl (Division 3) final will feature the bottom teams of each group.
