Poll shows people want action

The rising cost of living tops the list of problems people want the new government to fix, according to a poll out yesterday.

The Abac Poll Research Centre asked people to name the 10 top problems the government should make "national agenda issues".

Solving rising prices was on 75.4 per cent of respondents' lists. Illegal drugs worried 68.3 per cent.
