Time for a swim?

Cortina Watch (Thailand), which distributes Jaeger-LeCoultre timepieces, recently unveiled the brand's new "Master Compressor Diving" series with a party around the swimming pool at Bangkok's Metropolitan Hotel.

Published on January 27, 2008

Company managers Puthinakhon and Krist Chatikaratana greeted chronic clock-watchers Chanadda Jirathiwat, Thanida Kanjanawat, Panitnuj Bunnag, Parida Limpanond, Supichaya Suracupt, Sarit Rattanawadee and Daraninut Nakpitak, among many others.

At the appointed moment - and everyone was checking their watches - style king Polpat Asawaprapa invited the assembled masses out to the cool, relaxing poolside, bathed in blue lights and gentle moonlight.

There they found a troupe of acrobats attired in black and bronze, showing off their skills.

That was something, but the highlight of the party was when Khemmanit "Pancake" Chamikorn - currently the hottest girl in showbiz - and young actor Nithichai "Yuan" Yotamornsunthorn put on a bit of a performance.

With Pancake cheering him on, Yuan, clad in a sleek diving suit, took an impressive plunge into the pool, resurfaced, climbed out and strapped the watch of the hour on her wrist.

The crowd applauded vigorously. What a guy!

And what a watch! There are five models in the Master Compressor Diving series - the Diving Pro Geographic, the Diving Chronograph', the Diving GMT for men and, for feminine wrist, the Diving GMT Lady and Chronograph Lady.

The collection is available at the Jaeger-LeCoultre boutique on the first floor of Siam Paragon.
