Surayud tells staff to start packing up
Prime Minister Surayud Chulanont yesterday assigned his staff to start packing his personal belongings from Government House before his term ends next week.

Following his scheduled departure, the PM's Office will give to the public 3,000 free copies of its 300-page publication that praises Surayud for his contribution to the nation during his one year and five months as interim premier.
Meanwhile, a security team of People Power Party leader Samak Sundaravej went to Government House to survey the venue and routes in the compound.
Samak is expected to be elected prime minister when the House votes on Monday.
