Keegan and Wenger to pit wits in FA Cup fourth round

London - Kevin Keegan will pit his wits against Arsene Wenger when his Newcastle United side travel to Arsenal in the outstanding tie of this weekend's FA Cup fourth-round action.

Manchester United welcome Tottenham Hotspur while non-league Havant and Waterlooville enjoy a dream trip to Liverpool, but the match at the Emirates Stadium will capture most of the attention.

Keegan's first match in his second spell in charge ended in a goalless draw against Bolton Wanderers, so Arsenal will represent a huge leap in class.

The Newcastle manager's honeymoon period will last a few weeks more, no doubt, and Arsenal defender William Gallas has urged his team-mates to concentrate fully in Saturday's clash, having lost to Tottenham Hotspur in the Carling Cup semi-final earlier in the week.

"We just have to be strong and forget everything because, on Saturday, we have another big game which will not be easy," he said.

"Newcastle have a new manager and they want a result at the Emirates.

"We have to win that game because we have ambition. But the fans are upset and we are upset. All the club are upset and we have to accept it."

Liverpool, who have drawn their past four games with their title ambitions dwindling, will hope to avoid a huge upset when they play non-league Havant and Waterlooville at Anfield.

Havant and Waterlooville are two divisions below the Football League - the sixth tier of English football - so any kind of result at Anfield would rank as one of the biggest upsets in the competition's illustrious history.

Liverpool defender John Arne Riise admitted that he knew little about their opponents but said he would not take them lightly.

"I hadn't heard of Havant," he said. "We heard about the draw while we were at our fancy dress dinner.

"But it will be a great occasion for them to play at Anfield - it is an amazing place. We will treat them with respect because it will be the biggest game of their lives. We must be a little bit cautious."

Wigan Athletic play Chelsea while Manchester United's match against in-form Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford is the stand-out fixture on Sunday.

And Derby County, a distant bottom of the Premier League, will hope the Cup continues to provide a distraction from their league form when they welcome Preston North End to Pride Park.
